Do you want to get to know the real China?
Are you interested in sampling Chinese cuisine and culture first hand? Are you planning on coming to China for a short term period and need an economical place to stay while visiting? If your answers to these questions are yes then we have a unique opportunity to present to you in which you can have your desires and more. Become a foreign language tutor for our homestay program for the cities of Suzhou and Shanghai.
The tutor will be given a private bedroom (private bathroom possible but not guaranteed) in the home of a Chinese family in return for the tutoring of their child for one hour every weekday, weekends off. This is a non-monetary agreement, language tutoring in exchange for full room and board. All meals will be provided for the tutor as well as the cleaning of the living quarters and laundry. This is an amazing opportunity for cultural immersion.
The candidate must be between the ages of 18-25. The period of homestay is flexible. It can be as short as 2 months or as long as one year.
